A tale of which the likes of you've yet to see before, "FORSAKEN" is the culmination of over a decade of tireless nights and villainous plotting."FORSAKEN" is a tale that criticizes religious fanaticism and the atrocities of colonization, all wrapped up in a dark fantasy world inspired by heavy metal music and Japanese horror. "FORSAKEN" also delves into the psychology of fear and its many forms, including fear of water, darkness, loss, and many more.
"FORSAKEN" is set in a world entirely of fantasy, during an age of dread and despair. Two races of beasts, the divine Higher and the tribal Prideful, have waged battle for centuries, with Man caught in the middle, having born the brunt of their violent feud.
Tired of their war, Man sent their armies, wielding steel and magic in equal measure, to smite the beasts all at once. Those who have blessed these creatures with magic, the Collective, combined their forces to assemble a mighty champion, one who combines elements of Prideful, Higher, and Man alike.
The Gahiji, "The One Who Hunts the Shadows", easily destroyed the armies of Man, first by erasing their use of magic with its staff, the "Uhabra", then striking them down with its overwhelming power. The Higher and the Prideful, utterly exhausted from the bloodshed, retreated to their own corners of the world...
Present day, a new Higher King, a young eagle named Amqueela, rules. He seeks to acquire power that he may destroy his Gods, and bring about a new age of greatness for the Higher. Little does he know, he will succumb to a fate far worse than death for a Higher...
CHARACTERS
The main character, though he's anything but a hero. The former King of the Higher, banished from his throne in the Sky, he was transformed into a white panther, a Forsaken, after his Soul was stolen by a dark sorcerer. Amqueela is cruel, vicious, and willing to sacrifice anything if it means victory.

The story's secondary protagonist. A headstrong woman, dedicated to learning all there is about the Ether and its connection to all life. Set out on a long journey, but upon learning of the murder of her teacher, her father, she rushes home to uncover the truth and hunt down the killer.
"The Benevolent Warrior"
Laurada
A dark sorcerer of Man, his motivations are as shadowy and vexing as he is. Seems to have a peculiar fascination with Amqueela. The major antagonist of this tale.
"The Malevolent Sorcerer"
The Foul Priest
A former high-ranking officer in Amqueela's militia, when he once ruled as King. Has since retired from military life to spend time with his family, before they were ultimately slain by the Foul Priest's monsters. Drawn back into a life of fighting, his final mission is hunting and exterminating the Priest.
"Ex-Militia Captain"
Dax
A mysterious crow whose full name is unknown, but is only referred to as "Diabor". It is unknown what role this figure plays in the story for now, but only time will tell...
